Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Cosy atmosphere for different group sizes. Staff can be more attentive to empty plates as well as help serve the soup as we came as a group of 6 diners. Ordered different dishes, some hits, some misses. Can skip the vermicelli which was too dry and all stuck together. Cabbage with pork as well as fish maw omelette were good!"
"Ordered black paper seabass and crab curry over rice. Both tasted great. Got free soup also. Good price for the taste. Serving time could be improved, but considering I went there during peak dinner time, is understandable"
"Nice and bright , big menu restaurant with resonable prices. Try 1699 set. That's will be your good choice. They put big sign on glass wall. Waiter might be try to show you different. Foods are delicious and service is attentive. Nothing to complain. Some customers don't mind to spend money on foods but they might have some demands like don't want to sit near entrance or toilets. Overall , new found and happy meal."
"Located on the 6th floor of CentralWorld, Hua Seng Hong offers a polished blend of Chinese, Thai, seafood, dim sum, and Hong Kong–style noodle fare, reflecting a half-century legacy that began in Bangkok’s Chinatown. It has earned a spot among Thailand’s “50 Legends of Taste” The ambiance is inviting, with wheelchair-accessible seating and a table service approach that’s ideal for both casual and family dining"
"Curry crab is solid with the shredded meat well coated in flavourful coconut-y curry. Claypot prawn in vermicelli is well stewed, though the prawns could have been deveined. Pork broth is pleasant surprise, infused with traditional Thai herbs but without usual the Tom Yum spice. It provides respite and balance the spicy Thai meals. Overall, this offers a well rounded Thai Chinese cuisine making it excellent choice for international guests."
"Food was delicious. I came with my family and we loved the crab with curry, prawn/crab cakes, sweet and sour fish, and the plum soup. The service staff was very attentive and nice. Food was also fast. My little daughter liked the spinning table so much. She said it was efficient! We will come back again :)"
"Very crispy oyster omelette. So nice. The shark fin taste was quite a good balance. The tanghun was nice too! Happy meal!"
"Arrived at 8:20PM, and there were only few customers, I thought this is gonna another overly advertised restaurant, but I was wrong. The food was simply amazing, oysters are fresh and sweet, the prawn special dish (even though it’s a bit of up-selling) was just perfect in Thai curry style, and the buns that come with the curry is a nice touch. That said, mantis shrimp tastes average. I would highly recommend this place who wants a proper Thai dining experience."
